Soft, airy, salty and baked golden brown, focaccia can be a perfect savoury flatbread side dish, or baked a bit taller for delicious sandwich bread.  Live online class, approx. 2.5 hours in length (with breaks). 


Class Description:

We will make one focaccia using a very high hydration overnight rise, no knead dough.  You get to choose the toppings that will go on your focaccia.  Detailed materials, ingredients, recipe and step by step instructions will be emailed to participants upon registration.  

*Important note: You will mix the dough the evening before the class. This is a self directed task, and you will have access to a video demonstrating the mixing process. It will take around 10 minutes. Please keep this in mind when booking the class.  Here is the mixing video if you want to have a look before you book!*

Required Class Materials:

  • Kitchen scale - highly recommended (or measuring cups if you do not have a kitchen scale)

  • Measuring spoons 

  • Large plastic bag or plastic wrap for covering the dough while rising

  • Wooden spoon 

  • Plastic bench scraper - highly recommended

  • Large mixing bowl 

  • 9"x13" baking pan

  • Parchment Paper
